The SoundSkins SSK-SGFAIR24 is a vehicle-specific sound treatment kit engineered for the 2024+ Harley-Davidson Street Glide fairing and speaker pod system. Instead of requiring an installer to template and cut bulk material from scratch, the kit provides 30 pre-cut pieces designed specifically around the Street Glide fairing.
For high-output motorcycle audio systems, controlling the fairing is an important part of the installation. Speaker output can excite the surrounding plastic panels and cavities, creating resonance, vibration, buzzes, and rattles that compete with the audio system. The SSK-SGFAIR24 adds damping and acoustic treatment around these areas to create a more controlled environment for the fairing speakers.
SoundSkins Pro combines 1.5mm rubber butyl with 3mm acoustic foam for a total thickness of 4.5mm. The material helps control structural vibration while the foam provides additional acoustic treatment and isolation.
