DESCRIPTION

• Vehicle integration module for installing an aftermarket radio in GM vehicles using the LAN 29-Bit communication system.

• Retains factory OnStar®, OEM safety chimes, and factory amplified or Bose® audio systems where equipped.

• Serialized hardware ensures compatibility with GM data messaging and body control functions across supported model years.

FEATURES

• Maintains:

  • OnStar® voice + audio routing

  • Factory warning chimes (door, turn signal, key, seatbelt alerts)

  • Factory amplifier turn-on and audio path (Bose® / Premium systems)

  • Steering wheel audio controls (when paired with PAC SWC interface)

• Provides:

  • 12V accessory (ACC) power from data bus

  • Illumination, amp remote turn-on, and ground

• Supports installation of single-DIN and double-DIN aftermarket head units.

INSTALLATION NOTES

• Installs behind the new aftermarket radio using plug-in harnessing.

• No OEM wire cutting required.

• On vehicles with Bose® amp, signal routing remains line-level via factory amplifier unless re-amplifying system separately.

• If replacing factory amplifier or adding DSP, ensure correct signal source point (high-level vs. low-level).

• For GM vehicles equipped with LAN 29-BIT networks, commonly found in:
