DESCRIPTION

• Integration interface for installing an aftermarket radio in GM vehicles running Class-2 data bus architecture.

• Retains factory amplified audio systems (including Bose®, when equipped), OnStar®, and all factory warning chimes.

• Serialized hardware version ensures compatibility with vehicle-year communication logic and chime control mapping.

FEATURES

• Maintains:

  • Factory amplifier activation and audio routing

  • OnStar® voice/audio pass-through

  • OEM warning chimes (door, key, seatbelt, lighting alerts)

  • Audio and safety system behavior

• Generates proper accessory (ACC) power output for aftermarket radios.

• Supports base, premium amplified, and Bose® system variants (depending on vehicle trim).

• Integrates with steering wheel controls when used with compatible PAC SWC interfaces (sold separately).

FUNCTIONAL APPLICATIONS

• Install single-DIN or double-DIN touchscreen aftermarket head units while maintaining factory system integration.

• Allows upgrade to:

  • CarPlay / Android Auto receivers

  • High-power media head units

  • Marine-rated digital units for motorcycle/UTV conversions

INSTALLATION NOTES

• Installs behind the aftermarket radio — connects between OEM harness and new radio harness.

• No cutting or splicing of factory wiring.

• If retaining steering wheel controls, pair with PAC SWI-series control module.

• Chime volume is pre-calibrated but may be adjustable depending on revision.

  • GMC: Sierra, Yukon, Envoy

  • Cadillac: Select models with Class-2 (confirm connector style)

• Fitment is determined by radio connector type + data bus, not body style or trim name solely.
